Lets Change our Email and Info Message Boxes!
Some people have been asking, can you do this for me, or how do I change those WP-Member messages? The answer is actually pretty simple, and the plugin sophisticated enough that changing things up will not “break the site” either 🙂
First, from the Dashboard screen, click on Settings -> WP-Members
Next click on on the “Email” tab and edit any of the emails. Note: In the image below the email contains html and css code because of a custom edit that has been done to the plugin. Regular “fresh install” uses of the plugin will need to exclude all html and css from these email fields as it would just print your code in the email message.
Edit the emails and then click on “Update Emails” at the bottom:
Next click on the “Dialogs” tab. These are the messages that appear in boxes for various actions (registration complete, wrong password, registration needs required fields filled out, etc.). Edit any dialog messages (simple HTML <p> <b> and <i> tags have been programmed into the plugin’s dialog functionality, meaning you can use them!):
Lastly press, “Update Dialogs” at the bottom:
And that is all there is too it!
